News: Third PI Meeting in San Antonio Highlights the Centers Many Successes |
The Third PI Meeting, took place in San Antonio, Texas on February 14th and 15th, 2012. |

The theme of this meeting was "Using Proteomics to Understand Inflammation". The keynote presenter for this meeting was Dr. Gordon B. Mills who is the Chairman in the Department of Systems Biology at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. As a part of the meeting, multiple presentations were given by individual scientists from each of the seven centers. Also, as a part of the meeting, there was a poster session where scientists were able to meet and discuss the work being done at the individual centers. The best posters were given a certificate of award and are listed below (in no particular order). 1. Genaro Ramirez-Correa from the Johns Hopkins Center
